"Trigonometric analysis" isn't a common way of calling any particular branch of maths. That's probably why. It might perhaps refer to what people usually call simply "Trigonometry".

okay, so how is this different from calculus? ex: wanting to know the area of a wave within a certain domain, and then adding several (different) areas of the larger wave together into a larger area

Trigonometry is about trigonometric functions like the sine or cosine.
Calculus is about analytic things like derivatives and integrals.
